Perle dell’Elba launches the new line of Jewelry dedicated to the Napoleon Bee, symbol of the Elban flag

- Perhaps not everyone knows that the Elban flag, white with a red diagonal stripe and three golden bees on it, was commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte upon his arrival on the Island of Elba in May 1814 for his exile.
- The Bee was a symbol very dear to Napoleon, which over the years has been attributed many meanings, from industriousness to royalty, and even a connection with the Merovingian dynasty… however, it later became a symbol appreciated and recognized by the Elban people and the island’s admirers
- That’s why we decided to create a new line of jewelry inspired by and dedicated to this important and historic Elban symbol.
- Once again, we continue our “Mission” of bringing the territory and, in this case, its history, into a unique and exclusive piece of jewelry, strictly made in Elba.
